How to Send Us Your Work: Compass Press accepts submissions of previously unpublished, full-length novels, creative nonfiction, poetry collections, and short story collections from emerging or established authors. Submissions through the online platform submittable. Please create a free account on Submittable to submit to Compass Press. We only accept submissions through Submittable. Manuscript Formatting: Please submit the first 15 pages of your manuscript

in double-spaced 12-point type, preferably Times New Roman, Arial, Helvetica,

or a similar typeface. Margins should be one-inch. Pages should be

sequentially numbered. The author's name, address, phone number, and

email address should be on the first page. In addition to the manuscript, each

submission must include a short synopsis of your work (no more than two pages).

Simultaneous Submissions: We do accept simultaneous submissions, but

please notify us immediately if your work has been accepted elsewhere and is

no longer up for consideration.

Response Time: Please note that submissions are reviewed by students and

faculty at the Community College of Baltimore County, and as such the general

reporting time can run from 3 to 8 months, though we know you are anxious for

a response and will do our best to respond much sooner.
